Daniel Scott is author of two short-fiction collections, Some of Us Have to Get Up in the Morning and the forthcoming Pay This Amount. He is the recipient of an Artists Fellowship from the New York Foundation for the Arts and has been awarded grants and residencies from the MacDowell Colony, the Ludwig Vogelstein Foundation and the Millay Colony for the Arts. He lives in New York City.
